Liv Aanrud is a Los Angeles–based artist whose multidisciplinary practice blurs painting, drawing, and sculpture through labor-intensive processes that explore time, embodiment, and resistance to commodification. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire (B.F.A.) and Rutgers University (M.F.A.), she has exhibited widely in solo and group shows across the U.S. and internationally, while her work centers powerful, self-determined figures that imagine alternative, utopian worlds.
