Josiah O’Balles is an Afro-Chicano multidisciplinary artist, advocate, and storyteller from the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles, California. His work is informed and inspired by the heroes, beauties, and truths emerging from the struggles of the working-class BIPOC community, the rhythms of music, and his own personal lineage and history. Through his art, he seeks to amplify and advance the stories and causes of his community while deepening his own understanding of self.
