Description: It's a hand made stretcher bar from wood of a chair. The painting is not perfectly square as a result of using what materials were present. It's an ongoing ethos in my work flow. A way to make something from nothing. That also informs the choice of black and white. Using barebones materials and relying on skills gained along the way to make objects and paintings that exceed what could be seen as crude materials.
